I aim to be flexible but also require a certain level of commitment from my students. My teaching income is an important part of my family’s finances, and I ask that my students respect this.
What if something unexpected comes up, and the student can’t make it?
Illness, injuries, and family emergencies happen. The monthly lesson fee remains in force. Please contact me as soon as you know you will miss a lesson, and we will look for a make-up lesson date and/or conduct the lesson online over Zoom. This will be on a case-by-case basis.
What if the student wants to go on a planned vacation or has a conflict that he/she knows about in advance?
If you give me (the teacher) at least 1 week’s notice, we can discuss a make-up lesson day/time. Seasonal changes to lesson schedules/lengths will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
What if the teacher can’t make it?
If I am sick, injured, or have a family emergency, I will contact you as soon as possible regarding doing a Zoom lesson and/or a make-up day/time. If a lesson cannot be made up, I will discount the next month’s tuition appropriately. If I have a planned conflict with a lesson, I will discount that month’s tuition accordingly.
